Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the website www.ioana-hotels.ro or purchasing our products and services. Using the site implies full acceptance of these terms.

1. The contracting parties

Customer: any natural or legal person who accesses the site, fills in the contact form, purchases vouchers, memberships, or makes accommodation bookings.

2. Subject of the contract

Through our website we offer:

• Information about our hotel in Sinaia — presentation pages, rooms, photo galleries
• Personalised gift vouchers, purchasable online by card payment
• Annual memberships (“Total Flexibility”, “Free Thursday”) purchasable online
• A contact form for requests and bookings
• Redirection to our external online booking system (PMS)

3. Registration and personal data

The site does not require creating an account. For each purchase or request, a form with the minimum data needed for processing is filled in. Full details about data processing are in the privacy policy.

4. Payment

• All displayed prices are in RON and include VAT under Romanian law.
• Online payment is made exclusively through EuPlătesc, a PCI-DSS certified processor.
• We accept VISA, Mastercard and Maestro cards, with 3D Secure authentication.
• We do not store card data — we only receive the transaction confirmation.
• The purchase confirmation is sent by email immediately after payment approval.

5. Gift vouchers

• Amount of your choice, between 100 and 10,000 RON.
• The voucher is personalised and contains a unique code of the form VOC-2026-XXXXXXXX.
• Validity 12 months from issuance — any remaining balance is lost at expiry.
• The voucher is used at check-in or when booking, by presenting the code.
• It is not exchangeable for cash and cannot be extended.

6. Memberships

• Total Flexibility — 200 RON / year: cancel bookings without penalties, up to 6 hours before check-in. Exceptions: Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
• Free Thursday — 59 RON / year: book any Thursday at a rate of 0, subject to availability. Restrictions during peak periods (holidays, August).
• Both are personalised, valid for 12 months, non-transferable and non-refundable.

7. Accommodation bookings

Direct bookings are made through the website (link to the external PMS), by phone or by email. Rates include VAT and the resort tax. Specific conditions (cancellation, guarantee, check-in/out) are communicated upon booking confirmation.

8. Right of withdrawal

Under GEO 34/2014 art. 16 letter l, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Accommodation services (hotel bookings)
• Personalised gift vouchers
• Personalised memberships

This is an exception expressly provided by law for made-to-order/personalised products. See the cancellation policy for the applicable rules.

9. Customer obligations

• Provide correct and complete data for each purchase.
• Use the products and services as intended — vouchers and memberships are personalised.
• Comply with the internal rules of the locations at check-in.
• Pay the price displayed at purchase.

10. Operator obligations

• Deliver the voucher/membership by email immediately after payment confirmation.
• Honour confirmed bookings, subject to availability.
• Protect personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the privacy policy.
• Respond to complaints within 30 days.

11. Limitation of liability

The operator is not liable for:

• Delays or errors caused by external providers (EuPlătesc, the issuing bank, the email provider)
• Temporary unavailability of the site due to technical reasons or force majeure
• Indirect damages or loss of profit resulting from using the site
• The content of external pages linked from the site

12. Intellectual property

All texts, images, logos, trademarks and the design of the site are the property of INSIDE MEDIA COMMUNICATION SRL or our partners and are protected by copyright law. Reproduction, copying or use without written consent is prohibited.

13. Dispute resolution

Any disagreements are settled amicably. If this fails:

14. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute is settled in accordance with the Civil Code, the Civil Procedure Code, GEO 34/2014, GO 21/1992, the GDPR (EU Reg. 679/2016) and Law 190/2018.

15. Changes

The operator may change these terms at any time. The version applicable to a purchase is the one in force at the time of the transaction. Changes do not apply retroactively.
